Went to Wally World to pic up a few boxes of shotgun shells.
 

Went today at 1:00 PM and there was a line waiting to get in the ammo case .
Also heard a older gentleman asking for supplies , told the clerk he wanted anything they had that would be useful in an emergency , she asked what emergency and he replied "oh, a hurricane ", she said ,I see and went on pointing out things .Reasonable request one would think if we weren't in Kentucky . Sorta land locked and no chance of that emergency .

I wouldn't let it worry you. I went to Walmart tonight for the same thing. No lines, plenty stocked up (besides the stash I bought), and no one talking about hurricanes. :RockOn:

Not worth sitting that close to the edge ,
just picked up 4 boxes each of 4-6-8 shot in 12 and 20 ga
a few boxes of 270 and 30-06 realy just trying to get a few boxes for things I've not shot in a few years .Thought now was as good a time as ever to get set for future use while the price is still affordable.

Same around here but we have basically no blacks. Everyone is armed and has their ammo. Its hunting season.

Must be something in the weather. I went to wally world and bought some .308 and hollow point 9mm. Mind you, I'd actually gone for other stuff. Its just, when I get near the ammo counter, theres this gravitational force...

Our Wally World does not carry 9mm HP , only the winchester
USA 9mm FMJ for $9.99 in the 50 pack

I went by Wal-Mart Sunday evening and picked up a little. ammo. I got 100 rds. of 9mm Blazer Brass, 150 rds. of .22 mag., 100 rds. of .233, and 1100 rds. of .22 lr. The 9mm Blazer is still $8.97 per 50 rds. which is the cheapest I can find 9mm. BTW, the clerk told me they sold 7 guns in about 30 minutes Saturday night. Also, earlier in the week a customer had bought $480 worth of ammo at one time. :wink:

Not exactly, but in mid-September here in Ohio, we had a 10 day power outage from high winds due to hurricane Ike. Kaka happens, no matter where you live.

Same here. And no 5.56 anything.

Sorry. Read too quickly. We only have the 100 round bulk packs. I stopped buying them at around $13 per 100.

I thought it was just me....but damn the last 2 years I have been buying ammo like crazy.......to the point the wife wonders about my stability.

I just find each time politics gets me down....I buy ammo and...wow.....my spirits are up again.(:10_1_19:):565:
